Introduction:

Transformation of sentences is the process by which a sentence in a particular form is transferred to another without altering its meaning, unless asked to do so. According Structure Sentence are 3 types:-
  1. Simple Sentense
  2. Complex Sentence
  3. Compound Sentence

Sentences can be converted into simple, complex, or compound sentences using a technical procedure that I have underlined. I've seen that the majority of authors of books that are sold on the market have given pupils the traditional approach, which is really challenging and hard. They are required to review earlier lessons on clause, conjunction, sentence types, verb tenses, and other topics. They become impatient as a result and cease learning how to change sentences. But I've already covered sixteen simple rules. If you carefully read the entire post and put the examples into practice, I have a sneaking suspicion that you will quickly pick it up. Example :1

  • Simple: In spite of (his) being poor, he is honest
  • Or, In spite of (his) poverty, he is honest.
  • Complex: Though he is poor, he is honest.
  • Compound: He is poor but he is honest.
Example :2
  • Simple: In spite of (his) being unhappy, he blamed nobody.
  • Or, In spite of (his) unhappiness, he blamed nobody.
  • Complex: Although he was unhappy , he blamed nobody.
  • Compound: He was unhappy but he blamed nobody.
Example :3
  • Simple: In spite of having children, the man lives alone.
  • Complex: Though the man has children, he lives alone.
  •  Compound: The man has children but he lives alone.

  • Complex: If you do not leave the room, I will compel you to do so.
  • Or, Unless you leave the room, I will compel you to do so. 
  • Compound: Leave the room or I will compel you to do so.

  • Simple: Without doing as they suggest you, you will suffer.
  • Complex: If you do not do as they suggest you, you will suffer.
  • Or, Unless you do as they suggest you, you will suffer.
  • Compound:Do as they suggest you or you will suffer.

  1. You won't succeed if you don't put in a lot of effort.
  2. You cannot have a healthy life if you do not eat a balanced diet.
  3. If you don't have a visa, you can't go.
  4. He won't perform well on the test if he doesn't read carefully.
  5. You cannot succeed in life without being on time.
  6. Read carefully or you won't pass the test.
  7. You will be late if you don't move quickly.
  8. You cannot write well if you do not write frequently.
  9. You must move quickly to catch the train.
  10. If you don't leave the area right away, you will be penalised.

NB: Sentence টি Negative হলে Simple -এর ক্ষেত্রে ‘too’ ব্যবহৃত হবে এবং Affirmative হলে, ‘enough’ ব্যবহৃত হবে।

Example :1


Simple: He is too honest to take bribe.
Complex: He is so honest that he will not take bribe.
Compound: He is very honest and he will not take bribe.

 Example :2

Simple: he was enough intelligent to get a job.
Complex: he was so intelligent that he got a job.
Compound: he was very intelligent and he got a job.
