My Aim in Life
Or, My Future Plan of Life
Or, The Profession I Like to Take up in Future

Man aims for his future. An aimless life is like a boat without a rudder that can never reach its goal. So to succeed in life one should have a future plan from one's early life. This is called an aim in life. So, it can be said that one's aim is one's future plan for life.
Now I am a student. I believe that this period is a unique opportunity (g) to do something and to succeed in life. I have decided to be a teacher. I know, it is a very hard task. But I want to develop my nation. A teacher can lead the nation to the highest stage of prosperity (f) if he can properly teach the students with his ideal.
I want to serve the nation through proper teaching. A good teacher lives in the mind of the people of a nation forever. Our nation is a poor one. Illiteracy is a vital cause of our poverty. It is the root of all of our obstacles. If our students are properly educated, they can alleviate our poverty. By being a teacher, I am determined to serve the nation.
In order to fulfil my future plan, I must acquire some degrees. I sympathise (er) all students who fail in English. So I want to be a teacher of English. After passing my HSC Examination, I will get myself admitted into the Honour's class in English. After my Honour's and Master's degrees, I shall join a college to teach the students with my best effort. I would like to choose a rural area as my working place. I would like to serve my country sincerely. The condition of English in our country is very poor. I like to improve it. If our nation is capable enough to communicate internationally, she can easily reach her destination to prosperity. Though English is a foreign language, we cannot do without it in this age. I shall teach my students the four skills of language-listening , speaking , reading and
writing within the shortest possible time.

I pray to Allah for the success of my future plan. I have been studying heart and soul to build up a strong background of English in me. Apart from the school texts, I regularly go through English newspapers, magazines, periodicals, journals, etc. to improve my stock of vocabulary. I hope I shall be able to translate my aim or future plan into reality by the grace of Allah

Or, A Journey by Train
- Lets learn more
During the last winter vacation, I along with my parents made a journey by train from Dhaka to Chittagong to attend the wedding ceremony of my cousin.
We reached the station about half an hour before the departure of our train and bought tickets. The station offered a scene of great activity. Rickshaws, motor cars, etc. were coming to the station with passengers. Coolies were running behind them. There was a long queue before the ticket counter.
I maged to take my seat beside the window to enjoy natural sights. At 7 a.m. the guard blew the whistle and the train started moving and our journey began. The train first moved slowly, then it geared up quickly. Fresh wind began to enter the train. I began to see beautiful sights. Every sight impressed me. The paddy Balds and other trees were very beautiful to look at. In the train it seemed to me that we were not moving but ty trees, houses and other things outside the train were moving backwards speedily. In fact, the train was moving but they were still, I was charmed at this.
We enjoyed gossiping with our fellow travellers. Our train touched at few big stations and we bought boiled eggs, bananas and green coconuts and also some magazines. When we were in Chittagong, we taw many hills which gave me much delight.
At last, the train reached Chittagong at 1 pm. We got down from the train and saw my cousin waiting at the station. He had come to receive us. He became very pleased to see us .
The journey by train I made gave me much pleasure, joy and experience. I wish I could make it again, its memory will linger in my mind as long as I live.

The effect of deforestation is very harmful and dangerous. For this, Greenhouse Effect has occurred and the temperature of the world is increasing day by day. Heat waves have grasped many countries Ice is melting in the South and North Poles. The level of water in the sea is increasing on. This may lead to a worldwide flood. Measures should immediately be taken to prevent deforestation. We should plant five trees if we cut down one. We should also try our best to stop cutting down trees and save the environment. Otherwise, our future will be very difficult and uninhabitable.

Football is an outdoor game. It is a very exciting game of 90 minutes. There is a break after 45 minutes. It is not a costly and time-killing game. The game of football needs a field and two bar posts. Cricket, table tennis, and lawn tennis are very costly and time-killing games. In this respect, football is more exciting and enjoyable.
The game of football requires a field of about 120 yards long and 80 yards wide and two goalposts at each end. Two teams play this game. And each consists of (f) eleven players. Football is played by kicking the ball with the foot. During the game, only the goalkeeper can touch the ball with his hands. The players can also head the ball.

My Visit to A Historical Place
We have an intention (a, m) to visit historical places. It has a great educative well as cultural value. By visiting historical places, we can learn much about the past, past culture and tradition etc.
I have also a curiosity (cm, s) to visit historical places. I heard much from my near and dear ones that a historical place is a symbol (es) of our past. I was hopeful of experiencing something new by visiting a place of historical interest and learning new things. So, once I decided to visit Bagerhat, a great historical place.

There I saw many things and enjoyed them. There is a big tank in front of the Mazar. There are some crocodiles in this big tank. When the caretaker calls them, they come near. It is very interesting to see this sight. Sometimes, the visitors give the crocodiles something to eat.
I also visited the Shat Gambuj Mosque. It stands on sixty pillars and has seventy-seven domes. It looks very beautiful and is known across the country for its beauty and wonder of architecture of the middle age.
The visit really enhanced my outlook. It has inspired me to visit other historical places of our country. We are proud of our historical places."

Digital Bangladesh is A country having most of the governmental and non-governmental work is performed online via the Internet, where the society is truly dependent on information and technology, is called a digital country. So. 'Digital Bangladesh' means making the country digital with the help of internet technology. The present government has set out to make the country digital in order to reduce the lack of internet usage in every developmental sector of Bangladesh.
With a view to making the people of our country more internet savvy, Awami League, one of the leading political parties of this country, came up with an election manifesto back in 2008. From that period of time, the term was widespread and the government involved itself in making the country digital.
Though ours is an independent country, we are lagging behind in developing various business and private B sectors because of not being digital. In order to reduce this backwardness, sectors like governance, commerce, education, agriculture are now powered by computer and internet. The government is now working on the problems of unemployment, population, poverty, illiteracy, corruption, natural calamities, food deficit etc, digitally with the help of spreading the use of internet all over the country. So, the main idea of digital Bangladesh is technology based digital governance, e-commerce, e-agriculture, e-production, e- education etc. Also, uninterrupted power supply and computer network system are needed. People from all walks of life must also have basic ICT knowledge.
A digital Bangladesh will certainly be beneficial. It will save our time, age and money. It can reduce unemployment problems and make people more aware of the internet system, cyber security as well as cybercrime. More importantly, it will connect people with the whole world and make them aware of international decisions and developments. Every sector will be benefited even at the cost of high expense.
The present government is truly working hard and the initiatives taken are praiseworthy. It can be expected that soon Bangladesh is going to be a fully digital country which would be one step ahead to be a developed one.
Human life is full of events. Many incidents happen in our life. Some of these are very pleasant and create a long lasting effect in our minds. We remember those for long. My first day at school is a memorable event in my life. I remember the day most.

A Memorable Day in My Life
Human life is full of events. Many incidents happen in our life. Some of these are very pleasant and create a long lasting effect in our minds. We remember those for long. My first day at school is a memorable event in my life. I remember the day most.
That day I went to school very simply. But I put on a new dress and shoes. I got a new school bag. I also took new books and pens. The day was very interesting to me because I felt much pleasure in getting education again after finishing the examination of Class V. It was my new school. I set out for school taking wishes from my parents.
I met many old classmates and many new faces there. I made several new friends, too. We exchanged greetings with one another who were familiar. We also introduced ourselves to our new classmates. We talked about various aspects of our school life. We also took down the routine from the notice board. That day I came to know some new ideas of leaming. Those were quite different from primary education.
In the morning session, we were invited to the hall room. There the Headmaster addressed us. In his speech, the Headmaster spoke of the general rules and regulations of the school. He also spoke about basic norms and values. I entered the classroom along with other students joyfully. First, the English teacher entered our classroom and he lectured on the importance of leaming English. After him, a Bangla teacher entered and lectured on Bangla. He cut jokes. It gave us pleasure.
We enjoyed ourselves during recess. I went to the common room with some of my friends and played some indoor games. After it, I and some of my friends went to the school canteen and took snacks and cold drinks .

During the last Autumn, our school was closed. It was a suitable time for me to have a journey. At that time my cousin invited me. It was much easier to reach my cousin's house by boat. So, I decided to make the journey by boat.
1 proposed to some of my friends to join me to make the journey more interesting. Two of my friends accepted my proposal and accompanied me.
It was a ten-mile journey. We had hired a boat. We started at 4 p.m. The boatman steered the boat smoothly. He was very expert. The weather was calm and quiet. A gentle breeze was slightly pushing the sail. So we had no trouble on the way and the journey was very nice. It took two hours to reach our destination.

During the journey, we had a lot of enjoyment. The boat was dancing on the small waves and it thrilled me much. We also enjoyed a "Bhatiall' song sung by the boatman. We were delighted at the sight on either bank of the river. Some fishermen were catching fish. Many children were bathing and swimming in the river. I saw some young girls and women taking water from the river. When the sun was setting in the western horizon, the scene gave us a nice view and it enchanted us.
It was a really nice journey and I ever remember this journey, I wish I could make a journey like this once again.
